A Wee Little Mouse - - - original painting on wood

Living in rainy Vancouver, I can start to feel a little blue after days on end cooped up in my studio with grey clouds outside. That's when I know it's time to break out the bright colors! A bold shot of tomato red is sometimes exactly what you need to shake off the blahs and get moving again. This wee little mouse agrees too - he's ready to hop over to his new home too!

I really love the simple, graphic nature of this gang of characters. It's a refreshing departure to just give in to the cute side and I can't keep the big grin off my face as they spring to life on their brightly painted blocks. I think they'd look great in a child's room or for anyone who has a whimsical joyful spirit.

"A Wee Little Mouse" is an original painting, 6" X 6" on a beautiful beechwood support that is 1.5" thick. The edges are painted, so it's ready to hang without requiring a frame. Since the wood block is so thick, this painting is sturdy enough to stand freely on a window ledge or bookshelf.
