Super Secret Identity Nesting Decorative Boxes

Wonder Wares presents an absolutely amazing pair of nesting boxes that have decoratively decoupaged with classic and iconic funnybook superhero artwork. The theme features that most super well known of all men who are super with super secret identities - that’s right - the guy so SUPER he has a big “S” on his chest.

The sturdy original boxes are made in the Philippines from recycled papier-mâché material and have been decorated with clippings from old and damaged comics from the 60’s and 70’s that otherwise might have ended up moldering away in a box in some warehouse. The art is covered in multiple layers of decoupage glue. That has then been covered with multiple layers of a protective polyurethane varnish. If necessary they can be wiped down lightly with a damp cloth.

The larger, outer box is 7 inches square and features the most famous secret identity of all time - the mild mannered reporter for a major metropolitan newspaper. On the inside of the lid of the large box we see this alter ego snatching off his spectacles and ripping open his shirt to reveal his Super-ness! Decorating the inside of the box are classic funnybook advertisements – as fun to look at as the artwork.

The smaller, inner box is 6 inches square and it’s the one that reveals our hero – the most Super Man of them all. As with the larger box the smaller one is completely covered inside and out. More classic ads decorate the inside of the small box.

This set can be used for storage or simply as decorative items - or both! The Super Secret Identity Nesting Boxes are perfect for the comic fan who everything - except this.
