Garden Decor Word Block Mosaic in Concrete Garden Brick - Love Love Me Do

Sometimes and idea pops into my head that just screams to be made NOW. This ones scream turned into song- that old Beatles classic 'Love, Love Me Do' played over and over...you get the idea.. the whole time I was piecing this stained glass mosaic.

After piecing the mosaic portion (in reverse), the mosaic was placed in my own custom mold and set into concrete. An acrylic fortifier was added to the concrete mix to help with weather issues, however it is recommended that it be brought inside in freezing temperatures.

Design is precisely hand cut from stained glass. Center heart is iridized red glass that will look golden yellow when viewed from an angle. I tried to capture this in the photos. Finished block is angled for easier reading when placed in a garden and is 8" wide, 5" tall, 2.75" deep at base and 1.33" wide at top.
