RESERVED for Elicius - Swiss pendant / wrist watch, running, case in poor condition
Description
This watch has an unnamed 10 1/2 Ligne in size, approximately 24 mm in diameter. It is a 4 jewel movement that looks as if it has been weathered (lots of patina, especially under the dial). There are several hairlines on the dial (see full sized picture). The case is approximately 27 mm in diameter, made of some copper looking metal. It is in POOR shape. The bezel has a rip, which can be seen in the first photo, near the winding crown. One set of band lugs were cut off and the other looks to have been ripped off of the case. There are at least three large dents on the back of the case and a several on the ring. There is no crystal as none came with the case when I received it, and I did not believe the case was in good enough condition to warrant attaching one.This movement can be difficult to wind and set. When I took apart the movement, I noticed that one of the winding gears had lost a tooth. I had to occasionally turn the crown counterclockwise to reset the gears to a good tooth. Other than the damages described, this movement is running strong. On one wind as far as I could get with gloves (probably not all the way), this movement ran for about 19 hours.
