Primitive Directions Lampwork and Fine Silver Earrings

Have you had the satisfaction of hammering? I mean, just whacking the #$% out of a piece of metal until it submits to your demands? Try it sometime. It's great therapy. But make sure you're alone or someone will see the faces you make while you do it, and that's not good.

These earrings were made from some of my own 3/8" x 5/8" lampwork beads (8mm x 12mm) in amber, white, and black, and my own 3/4" x 1" (19mm x 25mm) fine silver hammered oval rings. The lovely hammered texture is not terribly apparent in these photos but very nice to behold in person. Complete with French hook ear wires (which I can replace with others if you want).
