Light-Brown Choker with Apricot Agate Pendant

This striking choker combines a traditional Chinese-style design with a large, focal-point pendant.

Length: Approximately 18 to 21 inches around, depending on closure.
Pendant is 1.875 inches in diameter.
Weight: 46 g.

Color: the choker is in shades of light gold and light brown; the pendant is s lovely peach/apricot shade that proved very difficult to reproduce accurately in the photograph. The photograph is close but makes the stone appear more tangerine than it actually is.

The choker we purchased from an importer in San Francisco; we believe that it is made from silk thread wrapped on an unidentified core. The choker closes by passing the bead in the rear through one of three elastic loops in the closing chain, so the length is slightly adjustable.

The pendant is polished natural stone showing small, crystalline features that give it visual depth. We acquired the stone in a lot and it was not further identified.
