Frost Flower Lace Silk/Mohair Scarf - OOAK - Special Occasion

Description

This is the most wonderful, light, floaty and pretty scarf I've made so far. It's the perfect scarf for a special occasion or wear it every day just because it's so pretty.

I've used both Habu Silk Mohair in a pale shimmery grey and a silk/linen mix in a soft light denim blue running alongside each other to create this scarf - both yarns are as thin as sewing thread and together they create a stunning pale blue with the softness of the mohair/silk and the crispness of the silk/linen.

There is a lovely 'frost flower' (diamond lace) pattern running all the way through the scarf with beaded edging in crochet at the ends. The beads are pale blue iridescent Magatama drop beads.

The scarf comes with a flower brooch that has been knitted, layered with organza and edged with more of the Magatama beads. In the centre there's a vintage crystal faceted bead.

The scarf is 1.40m (55") long and 17cm (7") wide. The brooch has a diameter of 7cm (2.5").
