Flapper Couture Magenta Feather Fascinator

A fun piece with a little attitude. Beautiful color, I can't decide if it's magenta, fuschia or purple. It's a little of all.

The French barrette measures 2.25 inches long and is gold-tone. It can't hold a large pony tail or thick amount of hair. These barrettes are to be added to a finished hairstyle, or they can fix a small amount of hair for a partial up-sweep.

The feathers spray out to approx. 5 inches wide and approx. 3.75 inches high. There is a felt pad on the back that offers a *little* room to add some tulle or netting if you like, it's about 1 inch long, and then of course there are the holes on the ends of the barrette for additional sewing.

I have more feathers in this color and can make similar items (with different earrings) if you have a wedding party.

Great vintage condition on the focal, very sparkly, some slight scratching on the crystals and plastic beads and a teensy bit of turning on the rhinestone.

Please Note: My hair clips/barrettes are a bit heavy for *very fine* hair. These clips/barrettes should not be used on fine hair to *fix* the hair in place, rather they are placed *in* your hair as a decorative accents after it is set.

They should be fine to fix thicker or curly hair.

With my clips/barrettes you can expect a small amount of "squeeze out" on the adhesive where the piece is attached to the pad on the backs. Nice strong grip! They are made using vintage costume jewelry and you should expect very good to fine condition on the vintage components. Major flaws will be noted.
