SOULMATE - Tanzanite and peridot sterling silver necklace

Description

A beautiful, classic necklace to wear forever or give to someone special.

Gorgeous, faceted saucers of periwinkle blue tanzanite and lime green peridot suspend from a slight oval of sterling silver. I used tiny linked chain, finished with a simple lobster clasp and a pair of tanzanites. All metal used is sterling silver which was oxidized by me. Tanzanites measure 2mm x 3mm.

Finished necklace is 16 inches and is meant to be worn as a choker with the oval and gems sitting at the throat. Oval and stones suspend 1 inch below the chain.

This piece would look great worn with light, medium or dark purple, as well as olive or lime green. Wear it with neutrals, too – how about a black tee or a little black dress?

Tanzanite is mined in only one place in the world, Tanzania, Africa and is in short supply, making this piece one very special necklace!
