An alternative matching ring to "The Kitchen Sink Bangle" -- this cute little piece is made from a cacophony of resins: lilac, amber, red and black.

Created in our "Goddess shape" this ring really is a beauty. Trapped inside clear amber resin you see a multitude of thread like strands intertwined one with the other. There is an amazing amount of detail to this piece.

THE PROCESS: Made completely by hand, this ring is OOAK. I spend time creating my own molds for my rings before pouring pigment tinted resins. After the resin has been poured and it has cured, I then sculpt to find the overall shape of the ring before I start the sanding process. This takes time and patience, and a steady hand. The final stage of each ring is polishing to a brilliant shine.

Each ring is time consuming, but it is always fascinating to watch a ring evolve, take shape, and I enjoy seeing how the colors melded together in the mold. Resin can never be an exact science, especially when you are using more than one color.
