Koi and Willow Tiles

Description

These beautiful press molded stoneware relief tiles are from our Kyoto collection. Each tile measures 4" square. set side by side, this pair of tiles creates a continuous pattern(see pic #2). The image is inspired by the serenity of a Japanese garden in spring, with the young willow fronds just brushing the surface of clear water. The koi, willow frond, and stylized ripple pattern are all designs traditionally found in Japanese textiles.

All of our tiles are pressed by hand into original hand-made plaster molds. They are appropriate for installation indoors and out, in bathrooms, kitchens, or gardens. They may also be mounted as stand-alone art pieces.
