One could swear this to be a vintage find, a lovely Violin, fabulously executed with a Mosaic from vintage china plates. A gift for cherished friends, family or a donation to your local Music Auctions to help the community. This violin just glows with luscious roses and more, awaiting another curtain call. Maybe with You? Painted in Cream and sealed with Sage green accents on the finger board and tail piece - it's looks have drastically improved.

Measurement: 19 inches, ...1/4 size violin

This violin is meticulously mosaic-ed with the most beautiful, hand cut china plate mosaic tiles. Cascading lush blooms and roses on some of my favorite vintage bone china/porcelain dinner and breakfast plates were cut into a very beautiful mosaic tesserae to cover this violin; mosaic tiles from Royal Albert Lady Carlisle grace the top part with a lil' winged cherub to one side, playing "peek-a-boo" The bottom is covered in Hutschenreuter China and a Edwin Knowles Focal which finishes the violin up very nicely. The hour glass "waist line" on this violin is embellished with a handpainted Butterfly tile. The violin is filled in with green, pink and pale pink stained Glass tiles. This actual, real violin was rescued from a future in the dumpster.
All china plates used here are in very subtle shades. The strings on this beautiful art piece are a set of white pearls. The tail piece is accented with handmade pale Yellow, cream and pink porcelain roses and a rhinestone heart. Up on the finger board curl/scroll, we have two handmade roses with leaves, and if you look closely you can see the finger prints on those rose petals. The bling accents the roses even more.
This is a gift that everyone likes to receive, music lover and others alike.

I finished this violin with a very light antique white colored grout to give it even more charm and a finished look.
