Silverlode Lace Cowl - hand-dyed wool and mohair

Description

This elegant cowl or neckwarmer is hand-knit from a luxuriously warm, hand-dyed, mohair-wool blend yarn, and features an airy lace pattern with delicately ribbed edges. I named it after one of the rivers of Tolkien’s Middle-Earth for its shimmery, subtle shades of soft cream and palest silver, copper, and gold.

Generously sized at 7 inches wide and 25 inches in circumference, the cowl also makes a comfy headwarmer and a surprisingly convincing faux slouch beanie hat. A creatively adaptable accessory that can be paired with any outfit for a sophisticated touch and extra warmth, without the bulk of a scarf.


Yarn: 60% brushed kid mohair, 40% wool. Those with very sensitive skin may find the mohair itchy; I have sensitive skin but still find it comfortable.
Care: Hand wash, dry flat.
