About the item:
This book opens up into a five pointed star--sliding the glass bead on the satin ribbon fastens it open or closed. Star books can be displayed opened halfway on the shelf, or hung by the ribbon as an ornament opened or closed. The covers are decorated with a lovely green bamboo print Japanese paper. The inside pages are a beautiful green Korean natural paper (Hanji) which is smooth on one side and slightly textured on the other. Both sides can be decorated with photos, love notes, celebratory greetings, favourite quotations…you name it! Or leave it blank for the beauty of its structure alone.

Closed: 7.5cm square (3”)
Open fully: approximately 22cm (8.5”) across
