Blue and Purple Barrette

Description

Handmade barrette made by fusing blue, purple,white, and clear glass pieces together.

The french clip is 80 mm (3 1/8"). The overall size of the piece is 3 5/8" (9.1 cm) by 1 1/8" (2.9 cm).

Glass pieces undergo multiple firings and cold-working in my home studio to achieve the final design. All glasses used are tested compatible to ensure durability of the piece. Occasional bubbles in pieces are a natural effect from the processing of the glass (and some bubbles are intentional).

Made in a smoke-free, cat-free environment.
