Hot Pink Hand Dyed Shawl Silk Organza Bubble Wrap with Ribbon

Made from 2 yards of Silk organza hand-dyed a nice bright hot pink, this Bubble Wrap is awesome. Really.

I used contemporary Japanese shibori techniques that allow objects to create three-dimensional texture in cloth. The texture varies depending on what object was used which makes a great visual and textural element to the art-to-wear piece. I used many different types of objects to create the texture in the cloth- marbles, bicycle parts...so the texture varies in size throughout the piece. Each object is bound individually, so I find I am "bubbling" in my studio a whole lot!

This Bubble Wrap can be worn tied in front, in the back, or side using the corners of the piece itself or the black ribbon that comes with the piece. I like to wear this style diagonally along the front of the body. One of my previous customers liked this style and said "I tied it at a rakish angle". I love that quote! Can also be worn around the waist as a sexy apron.

Rolled hems were sewn with black polyester thread for durability.

All amtextiles come wrapped securely in a gift box with hand-dyed ribbon. amtextiles that do not come with ribbons attached will find a complimentary hand-dyed ribbon inside their package to aid in the wearing of the wrap!

Home dry cleaning systems are the recommended method for cleaning.
For a limited time, a home dry cleaning system that can be used in a dryer will come with every purchase!

Please do not iron the bubbles.

Please do not immerse on water, but getting it a little wet is fine.
