Description
A 4 inch square canvas of the striped cliffs at Hunstanton - the top layer is chalk then Carr stone then sandstone, seen from the sea.Gallery wrap canvas, with the sides painted to tone with the painting, so no framing is necessary.
A side view is shown so that you can see the depth of the canvas.
Acrylic.
I work a great deal plein air in sketch books - this information then feeds into studio paintings large ... or tiny like these.
They look very good grouped as they show different weather and changing colour and light.
