Cannister Set of Three - Aspen Tree Series

Description

Three perfect storage containers for your kitchen counter. If you have a rustic/country cottage decor or contemporary look to your kitchen and dining area, these aspen tree lidded jars will fit right in.

I created each on my pottery wheel out of porcelain clay, adding the distinctive folds and knotholes in the bark while the clay was soft. I also added aspen leaves to the sides and lid. The jars are glazed in a matte white glaze, then I used pottery stains to created the black markings typically found on this tree. The leaves are glazed in shades of green and gold, signifying the spring, summer and fall colors.

They are perfect sizes for storing flour, sugar, coffee, tea, pasta, cookies, or anything else needing storage.

The largest cannister is 10" high x 5" across with a 3.25" opening. It holds about 7 cups.

The middle cannister is 9.5" high x 4.25" wide with a 3.25" opening. It holds about 5 1/2 cups.

The smallest cannister is 7.5" high x 5" across with a 3.25" opening. It holds about 4 1/2 cups.

All are signed on the bottom rim, and are dishwasher safe.
