Vintage patchwork quilt throw cover mostly damask patches 56 by 64 inches
Description
Patches appear to be machine-assembled, but the leaf-green reverse side reveals hand sewn quilted pattern. This quilt/throw is in excellent condition, with only minor imperfections as follows:- 2/3 of one of the red triangles is faded (presumably before assembly, since there is no evidence of fading in the other patches, which are all vibrant);
-there are 4 tiny black spots that look like ink dots but they are not readily discernible
-there is a tiny break in the fabric of one of the patches
-the reverse side shows some barely perceptible fading along the edges.
Size is 56" (142 cm) by 64" (163 cm.). This is an elegant, colourful accent for any room. It looks great folded over the back of a sofa ready to cover you when you prepare for a nap or a reading session. Teamed with coordinating throw pillows picking out any of the colours, it will be a winning focal point to draw the eye.
