This Silk Organza Bubble Wrap was dyed using low impact fiber reactive dyes. After dyeing, I embedded different objects into the cloth around the edges and randomly elsewhere, heat set them, then removed the objects to leave the shape permanently embedded in the cloth. The texture is reminiscent of bubble wrap. Hence, Bubble Wrap-to-wear!

Wear it loosely, pin it to your shoulders, tie the included ribbon in front or the side or the back (makes a cute bustle). A Fine Silver wire bracelet that will adjust to fit your wrist or to tie the wrap is included with your purchase (see photos for example)!

This "Bubble Wrap" is made of 2.5 yards of hand-dyed blue silk organza. The pattern of three-dimensional texture was made using contemporary Japanese shibori techniques that are permanent with special care. Rolled hems are sewn using polyester thread for durability.

All amtextiles come wrapped securely in a gift box with hand-dyed ribbon.

Simple Bubble Wrap Care:

Home dry cleaning systems are the recommended method for cleaning.
For a limited time, a home dry cleaning system that can be used in a dryer will come with every purchase.

Please do not iron the bubbles.

Please do not immerse on water, but getting it a little wet is fine.
