Extreme Primitive Folk Art Flying Angel Doll
Description
This extreme primitive angel doll was handmade by Old World Primitives using tea stained muslin to give him a time-worn and primitive look. He flies through the air with his blue plaid homespun wings, and wears a coffee stained, olive checked homespun scarf around his neck. His wings and both of his arms have wire inside to make them posable.His angel face is painted white and his mouth is hand drawn. His eyes are made of black seed beads attached to hand sewn, tea stained muslin ovals. He has bits of stained string for hair, and a string to help him fly. This primitive folk art angel doll was made using a Netty LaCroix pattern plus wings of my own design, and measures approximately 24 inches long by 9 inches high.
