My husband and I worked together to make these fused glass pendants, using decals from my original artwork. These aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill decals, either! Ours produce a crisp, black graphic, instead of the speckled, copper-colored decals that most other people are using.

Three layers of glass are stacked on top of each other, with a wire bail between the bottom two layers. They're fused in a kiln until the layers melt together and the edges round out a bit. Then we apply the decals and fuse them again until the artwork has melted into the glass.

A nickel-chromium wire is fused permanently into the glass, so you'll never have to worry about anything coming unglued while you're wearing it! A sturdy stainless steel ring attaches the pendant to your choice of strong steel ballchain or black waxed cotton cord with silver-plated hook clasp. (A 16" ballchain will be included with your order unless you ask for a longer size, or a cotton cord.)

These bold gems come in bright colors like light cyan blue, orangey tomato red and earthy olive green--this listing is for the color in the main listing photo. They're substantially sized at a little larger than 1.5" x 1.5" (4cm x 4cm) square and 3/8" (1cm) thick.
