HandCrafted Solid Wood Egyptian Talking Spirit Board (Ouija style)

Description

12"x16" Solid Linden Wood "Ancient's Spirit Board". The artwork was Hand Burned (pyrographed) into the wood.

This piece was specifically designed to use the knowledge of the ancient Egyptians to aid in divination; as no culture in history was more connected to the otherworld. Osiris, God of the underworld faces Anubis, God of the Dead and an Ankh for life is placed between them. The Scarabs in the corners are a symbol of reincarnation, and the eye of Ra on the planchette is meant to help guide you. The planchette is crafted of solid Pine.

Both pieces are stained "honey maple" and covered in several layers of clearcoat to protect the art.
