Peahen
Description
This lovely soft sculpture of a peahen is handmade from cotton fabrics and is stuffed with 100% wool.She stands 13" tall.
Her legs are wire that I've wrapped in torn strips of cotton fabric and then overwrapped with thread.
Her feathers are loops of torn fabric. She has a stunning long tail with many layers of feathers as well as tiny gems. Her eyes are embroidered and she has five wired feathers adorning her head.
All in neutral colors, the form and detail of this soft sculpture make a striking statement.
