Mocha - ruffled shantung peony brooch with sparkly repurposed button

Description

Dramatic layers of shantung (nylon) are combined to create this beautiful brooch. Each fabric petal is cut by hand and then finished to prevent fraying. Carefully handstitched together, a sweet sparkly repurposed button has been added to the centre, and a lockable pin to the reverse. Perfect as a brooch, the pin allows this to be added to a headband, or simply use a length of ribbon to create a lush corsage.

This measures 8cm or just over 3" in width.
