Akebia - OOAK

Description

Although often considered a pest, the flowering plant Akebia has a gorgeous variety of flowers. It's unusual enough that I thought it the perfect title for this addition to the De Bloem collection. You see, if unusual is what you're looking for, Akebia is for you.

This necklace is made of muted shades of browns and blues, with a few foil-lined brown glass beads at regular intervals. The center flower is a double design, making it look thicker than my usual flowers. It has some brass coloured findings to add that odd sparkle. At a little over 15 inches long, and the centerpiece just a bit more than one inch, this necklace is reserved for subtle, unusual manners of dress.
