Bellydancing is one of the great joys of my life. I love getting dressed in exotic textiles and jewelry, and constructing elaborate headdresses inspired by traditional cultures from around the world. The bellydancer fascinator is meant to provide that feeling of expressive freedom and exotic beauty to dancers and non-dancers alike. Whether for performances, nights on the town, or time spent in your favorite corner of the garden, it is my wish that this piece reminds you of your own secret dance, and the music you possess within.

This fascinator was constructed from vintage velveteen, repurposed pheasant and ostrich feathers, cruelty free pheasant feathers, a silver bell chain from India, and an Indian silver embellishment. The bells chime softly when you move, like a chorus of fairies, and the feathers are iridescent so they change from shades of metallic orange to purple depending on the way the light hits them.
