Oh Pretty Petal - ruffled brocade and organza peony brooch with detailed repurposed button

Description

Romantic layers of Chinese brocade and delicate organza are combined to create this beautiful brooch. The brocade has a base of petal pink, with details in gold and coral - the organza is in complimentary lilac and light gold. Each fabric petal is cut by hand and then finished to prevent fraying. Carefully handstitched together, a sweet detailed white button has been added to the centre, and a lockable pin to the reverse. Perfect as a brooch, the pin allows this to be added to a headband, or simply use a length of ribbon to create a lush corsage.

This measures 9cm or just over 3 1/2" in width.
