4 in 1 Micromail Weave Variation with Swarovski Dangles
Description
I've used copper jump rings, copper ear wires, and 42 4mm Swarovski bicones in a mix of Spring-to-Summer colors.Made with copper wire, I first coil the wire around a mandrel then cut the resulting coil with a saw made specifically for the task. The jump rings are then tumbled with stainless steel shot in a rotary tumbler for 2-3 hours to remove any burrs, work harden, and to polish. I weave each jump ring into the chain you see here. I made each individual dangle you see, each on it's own ultrathin headpin. There are 21 dangles on each earring.
These earrings are styled after a technique in the book "Beaded Chain Mail Jewelry" by Dylan White. Cool book!
