...inspired me to make a few of these with a design I used to use almost twenty years ago.
The shoulder and lid are glazed in a deep cobalt blue. The slip-decorated deer is a grey-blue, muted by the natural colored glaze that is over it.
It stands about 13" and is about 10" wide.
The high-fired stoneware is suitable for any food you may want to put in there.
