Bubble Sticks

Description

These long and sleek earrings are quite unique. They are woven entirely of sterling silver wire around a hand forged center wire that was heated in a gas flame to form a ball at the end.
Layer after layer, the pattern was formed around the core wire, using only 28g sterling silver wire and 3mm silver beads.

The earrings were oxidised and hand polished with a brass brush and steel wool to bring out the details of the weaving.

Length incl. earwiress: 7,5cm – 3”.
