I love knitting scarves. You just knit and knit and knit...not counting rows or following pattern perse...working yourself into a peaceful zen place where all is right with the world. The peace doesn't last long..."MOMMY!" shrieks one of my charming children...and the spell is broken. And then I start the process all over again.

STORM CLOUDS

This cozy scarflette is designed for a petite woman or large child. I knitted this from a discontinued wool (90%) cashmere (10%) yarn that I fell in love with last year. It's so chunky and warm, but very lightweight, not bulk. FWithout question, my favorite features of this scarflette are the buttons, which are metal castings (pewter, I think) of the old fashioned sterling silver buffalo nickels.

This pattern is designed and knitted by me.

Measurements: 4.5" x 16.5"

Care: Hand wash, blot excess water in a clean, dry towel. Lay on a flat surface to dry. Pls. note that this yarn will felt, so avoid hot water and excessive agitation when washing.
