Anise is a flowering plant that smells similar to licorice. The oil is obtained from the seed like fruits and used for flavoring and as a fragrance. It helps remove odors such as gasoline, tobacco & sweat, from the skin. It’s used for hunting and fishing to remove human scent. As a medicinal plant, anise has been used as an antibacterial, antimicrobial, and an antiseptic.

Our soaps are made in small batches in the time honored cold process method. You will receive a bar that's about 4 ozs. as each bar is hand cut. This is a nice hard, long lasting bar, with lots of bubbles. No added color.
