Bumblebee Bracelet - Triple Birdcage Chainmail Pattern

Description

This bracelet is woven from rings made of bright anodized aluminum. The pattern is a modification of the Byzantine weave and is known as Triple Birdcage or Trizantine chain.

The yellow 'cages' are separated by pairs of black rings, forming a series of bumblebee shapes. Despite the dense and intricate weave, the aluminum rings make this bracelet very light and comfortable. The yellow rings are shiny as chrome and so slick they feel oiled.

The rings are 1/4" diameter and are anodized after being saw-cut for an even coloring and nearly seamless closures.

This bracelet is just over 8" long. Please let me know if you would like it made shorter or longer. I can add up to 1.5" at no additional charge. Exact lengths are tricky due to the nature of this weave, but I’ll do my best to accommodate any size request!
