Hot Lava Monster (mini print / trading card)

Description

Remember those interchangeable monsters from Hanna-Barbera cartoons? The Hot Lava Monster that had the same inverted V mouth and wheezy shriek as the Yeti?

They've haunted me till I created a set of cards / prints fixing them for myself. First up, this modest Hot Lava Monster, fashionably dressed in a fire-retardant but non-carcinogenic loincloth.

Original colored pencil drawing reproduced digitally with a Canon CLC 4000 laser printer and mounted with black photocorners on toothy and thick archival 140lb coldpress watercolor paper. The image is about 1.75 x 2.5" and the paper has been hand-ripped down to about 3.5 x 5.25" leaving a nice rough edge.

Expect variation even among prints of the same monster because I made a template of multiple drawings. I print each template and hand cut the images for mounting. Colors may vary from what you see on your monitor.

Each card is unique and signed on the back.

Shipped with protective cardboard/cardstock.
