Limpet shell and abalone necklace
Description
This began with a silvery piece of wood I found on a walk in the woods near our house in Oregon. It inhabited our found objects table for weeks as I tried this and that to complete a little sculpture with it. Eventually, an sea theme emerged and I finished it with abalone shells, a limpet shell, and fishing tackle for findings.Hung on a natural linen cord, the piece measures approximately 4" wide and 3" high overall.
