Japanese style hair ornament on a snap clip barrette. Tsumami Kanzashi - fabric folded hair ornaments are a traditional accessory for Maiko and Geisha.

This modern adaptation is handmade using vintage fabric and a button. The snap clip is firmly attached to the flower with a felt base. Raw edge fabric on underside.

Perfect for any occasion the silver tone snap clip barrette is 1 7/8" size and the flower measures about 2 1/2" across and 5/8" in height.

The petals are stripped navy and white vintage fabric creating a zebra like appearance and the center is a silver tone and black flower style button.
