I have handmade these earrings using sterling silver, brass and copper. I have hand cut each of the discs and then stamped each one. I have linked the discs together with soldered jumprings and finally added a handmade sterling silver earwire and given them an oxidized finish.

These earrings are about life growing from a seed (the matte brown glass bead). I have chosen the metals to accentuate the stages; the warmth of the sun is stamped into the brass disc, the flowering plant into the silver disc, and the earthy copper with the growing plant emerging from the ground.

The discs are 3/8 inches (10mm) diameter and the length of the earrings from the earwire to the bead is 1 and 3/4 inches (45mm).
