Original painting, not a print. These recycled record paintings are one sided, if you feel the urge, you may still flip the record over and play the other side! These records came from my dad's HUGE record collection. These are the extras or doubles from his collection of over 40,000 records! The titles come from the records themselves, either a song name, artist name or even the label name.

Art is my calling. It’s not just what I do, it’s who I am. Throughout years of ups and downs art has been the one constant in my life.

My professional art career began in March 1991 shortly after the birth of my second son. My hope was to earn the part time paycheck I needed to be a stay at home mom. Eighteen years later, I’ve sold many drawings and paintings and thousands of prints all over the world. Thanks to all the wonderful people who have supported and purchased my art, my dream has become a reality. When I began 18 years ago, all sales happened on the road, there was no internet to connect me to the world. The best benefit to this outlet is that I get the privilege of dealing directly with the people who hang my art on their walls!

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico only a couple hours from my hometown, Las Cruces. I live with my husband Aaron, youngest son Nate and two dogs in a great old house about half a mile from the Rio Grande River. Most mornings you will find us walking our dogs along the Bosque.

I spend my days (and some nights) working at my studio. I am also an active member of the Albuquerque artist community. In 2008, I co-founded Chroma Studios, an art space/gallery dedicated to providing working studio and teaching space for professional artists.

I currently work mainly in oils, but I have worked with a variety of mediums. My current body of work is what I call Spiral Abstracts or more commonly known as Abstract Expressionism.
