Original oil and acrylic on canvas, 16" high x 20" wide. Canvas fully painted on sides, top and bottom edges, stretcher is 1 and 1/2 inches deep (no staples on side). Clear coated for further protection, signed and dated as always!

A couple of interesting notes here...I rarely paint landscape / horizontal paintings, and this one started in oil on our last election day. The original inspiration was all about our freedom in this country, and patriotism. I have always felt passionate about being an American (as corny as that might be) although I usually keep most of those sentiments close to my heart. In any case, the painting was never finished....and now it has taken on a whole new life.

Origin of Flight is meant as an inspiration, how ever you might like to take it. Of course my bird Ozzie, the amazing Cockatiel, makes another guest appearance. Flying through the air with her curled ribbon, to unknown origins of peace....
