This is an original painting, by Ren Adams (me), using traditional Chinese brush painting techniques.

The process of Chinese brush painting is part of my daily meditation. It allows me to focus and to spread positive energy into the universe.

This is a very abstracted Chinese brush painting, done in the xieyi style (loose stroke).

This painting is an off-handed tribute to the legendary Japanese movie and comic series, "Lone Wolf and Cub."

In this painting--a wandering swordsman, or ronin, without a home travels with his son into dangerous, unknown lands. They wear round straw hats to protect them from the sun and rain. He's the lone dragon--traveling ancient Japan, seeking those who wronged his family... you can imagine the story!

This painting is also signed with my artist's name chop (An Rui Ning) and my mood chop (the oval stamp, which reads: Arriving at the Tao is not Difficult.)
