Pine Nouveau fiber art on linen, hand embroidered

Description

I found this unique Art Nouveau pattern while browsing a museum collection. I then chose the natural flax linen and a combination of deep purple and muted orange as embroidery colors.

It was hand embroidered by my Mother, who has practiced the craft for 30+ years. I, in turn, hand painted the hoop tarnished gold color, varnished (gloss), backed the fabric with acid free cardstock and carefully put everything together.

Dimensions, frame included: 5 1/2in (14 cm) in diameter.

I will ship the item carefully wrapped and backed to protect it from moisture and damage, First Class (International). I refund shipping overage -$1 handling.
