This bulky loosely spun single ply yarn is recycled from a 100% Ecuadorian wool sweater. It is soft and light for its bulk and perfect for felted projects.

This has been kettle dyed in red, yellow and green. Kettle dyeing allows the dye to mix and take to the yarn irregularly creating unique secondary colors. You will see dark forest green and purples in this yarn where the dye mixed.

This is a rustic yarn and it will felt very easily. I discovered quite a bit of vegetable matter when I unravelled this sweater. I removed most of it but you will still find some bits of hay and dried grass here and there. This is reflected in the price.
