Description

An assemblage of natural found objects for your quiet contemplation and visual enjoyment.
This assemblage features a red maple leaf. Arranged on the leaf are a small glass bottle filled with chips of amber and an ammonite fossil. Ammonites became extinct over 90 million years ago.
There is a charm of carefully chosen objects hanging from a stick at the side of the leaf tile. Some of the objects included: amber,black bamboo, a clay energy spiral, peach aventurine.
This assemblage is approximately 8x8 inches square.
We make these tiles from slabs of clay,glaze them and raku fire them. Then a small arrangement of natural and found objects is created on the tiles. We use pressed leaves, stones, shells sticks and other treasures we have collected. Each assemblage is one of a kind.
The leaf is sealed with several coats of acrylic varnish to protect it.
This tile is ready to hang on your wall.
