Indie Art Doll

Description

Indie is a one of a kind art doll handmade of old sarongs from Bali, dark blue fringe, yellow trim, gold and brown ribbon, black beads and a sun pin. Around her neck is a necklace of beads mounted on fine nylon cording.

Indie is almost 26" tall and 8" wide at the base. She stands freely in the base that comes with her.

Her black face is paper mache' over a styrofoam egg. Her body if fabric stuffed with polyester fiberfill.

"Indie" is inspired by my travels to Indonesia. What does she reflect back to you? Your beauty? Your adventurous nature? A call to travel? All the dolls I make have faces free of detail as I hope you will project into them something you see in yourself.

This art doll is certainly a presence. She strikes a pose and calls attention to her. Does she speak to you? If so welcome her into your life and let her bless it with gifts.
