Issue#1- 'Giving Up The Post'

This is the first issue of a personal/DIY zine, in a series I plan to continue. It's very creatively done, on quarter-legal paper (4"x7"), in black, white and greyscale ink, with 24 pages (not including cover). Each page is FULL of thoughtfulness and love! This zine focuses mainly on my choice to quit writing several years ago, and explores the thought processes my mind went through to begin writing again. It's full of inspiration. A few more things you'll see in here are:

-Collage work graphics, including altered,
found and vintage images
-A very unique page to color! B.Y.O.
(Bring your own crayons/sharpies ^_~)
-An illuminating article on why I chose this particular name
-A short story about a mythical long armed stapler
-An illustrated guide on how to stretch a canvas, and
an article on how easy & great it is to be able to do this
-An amusing anecdote about cooking, and how to get started
-An excerpt from Freewords
-Featuring absolutely no poetry at all
(belongs in poetry zines)
-Comes with a couple extra goodies
