Evening Fancy Hand Bag

Who knew that place mats could be used for something other than decorating your table! I love to find funky place mats and create cute hand bags out of them! I add all sorts of ribbons, fabrics, buttons, appliques, handles and whatnot to make these one-of-a-kind creations! I make no two alike, and people seem to like knowing that no one else will ever be carrying their exact hand bag around! All bags are between 9-11" wide and about 7-8" high, depending on the size of the mat. They are very durable! I carry one myself and it is chock full of stuff and trust me when I say that I don't have time to baby it! It's lasted me over a year now, and still looks great! They make great occasion bags to dress up an outfit or just as a conversation piece. They also make great gifts!
