Alpaca Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Thumb Flaps in Copper 'n Green, Size 7 to 7.75

Hot off my hook are these wonderful convertible gloves with thumb flaps made with a luscious Alpaca blend yarn in the colors, "Verdant Green", and "Copper".

This wonderfully soft yarn is 50% superfine Alpaca, 45% Merino, and 5% nylon. The nylon gives the yarn a bit of glimmer, making them look like they are kissed with dew.

These are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.

The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.

With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can text away on your cell!!

I've added flaps to both thumbs so it doesn't matter if you're a righty or lefty. :)

This pair measures about 7 5/8"(19.4cm) in circumference and 7.75"(19.7cm) from wrist to tip of mitt without any stretching. Depending on how tight you like to your mitts, these will fit a hand 7" to 7.75" in size. The cuffs are just under 3"(7.6cm)wide.

To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number. If you have any question about how these gloves will fit your hand just send me your measurements.

There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves. I adorned this pair with antiqued coppery metal buttons.

Hand Wash, Dry Flat. Can be Commercially Dry Cleaned.
