Total blue - Necklace

Description

A necklace featuring polymer clay, wire wrapped sterling silver and gemstones.

A polymer clay bead handmade by me based on the method of artist Judy Belcher, with a super glossy finish, hangs from sterling silver wire, shaped, hammered and coiled with thin wire, enriched with tiny sky blue topaz rondelles. Beneath the polymer clay bead hangs a sparkling cascade of aquamarine briolettes and ivory freshwater pearls.

The sterling silver chain is enriched with faceted aquamarine nuggets and apatite rondelles. The clasp is handmade by me, and the chain extension feature sea blue and yellow chalcedony faceter briolettes.

The pendant measures approximately 11 cm. The chain is adjustable from 21.5 to 28 cm.

The sterling silver has been gently oxidized, buffed with steel wool and polished for a smooth shine.
