Kindle 2 Cover

Description

I recently purchased a Kindle 2 and ordered the standard black leather cover. I just wanted more out of the cover. So I designed these.

When I read, I want to be transported and transformed, and having the plain corporate-looking cover just wasn't what I wanted.

I designed these covers with reproductions of actual pulp fiction book covers. They are I love the campy silly look of these covers. They are all made from heavy bookboard covered with leather-like printed vinyl. These Kindle 2 covers have the feel of a hardback leather book and the illustration is sealed to last a long time.

The Kindle is held in place at the corners by simple elastic. It is more snug and secure than the standard Kindle cover and the Kindle can be easily put in place and removed as often as you like. I have actually dropped mine and the elastic held it snug and secure and the Kindle and cover survived with not a scratch.

These covers are not only designed to be fun, but they also are designed to be tough and long-lasting. Like the Kindle itself, a beautiful cover is an investment that needs to last for year and years. I have used good quality board, fabrics, papers, elastics and adhesives. To create a cover that can be a part of your library for years to come.
